CHICAGO - New research challenges the notion that you can be fat and fit, finding that being active can lower but not eliminate heart risks faced by heavy women. "It doesn't take away the risk entirely. Weight still matters," said Dr. Martha Gulati, a heart specialist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

So I guess all the "big boned" people who exercise are still at risk for certain diseases due to extra weight. Some people are genetically larger, not many but some, so this is the same in my opinion as a genetic predisposition to a heart attack, just visible. I wish people really watched what they ate and exercised, then most of the obese population cant blame it on genetics when in fact it is their own laziness.
