Yea! We voted into office a bunch of democrats who raised taxes on those greedy oil people

They also raised taxes on other industries and will raise more taxes on those greedy corporations when they get into the Whitehouse.

Guess who pays for all those higher taxes? Cost of gas goes up; cost of food goes up, cost of every stinking thing we buy goes up.

Will we ever learn?

Why do we complain so much about high gas prices? We vote in to power people than can make the cost of energy cheaper or more expensive via legislation. We chose more expensive by voting in legislators who hate big corporations and love taxing the cra_p out of them. We the people want to punish big fat corporations with higher tax burdens; some one has to pay the higher costs that companies incur, and that be us, the working class.

If democrats are for the worker why is it they make life difficult for the working person? They have been in office and in control of the whole congress for a year and a half now. All they did in that time was raise taxes and make plans to reverse some of the tax cuts the republicans put into place for the working folk. I guess we all need higher taxes. Maybe that will solve all our problems.

So far, what they have done is create higher prices at the gas pump, higher food cost at the store, and did nothing at all to keep real estate from collapsing, other than help it by doing nothing. Maybe they should raise taxes on the millions who are loosing their homes.

Hey, weren't they supposed to put pressure on the Administration and immediately get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan? What ever happened to that plan?

Oh, that's right. It was all lies to get elected. Who would ever fall for such a ruse?

More than half of the voting population fell for that ruse, and I think they are proud of it and ready to do it again. Heck, America is still standing, not everyone is happy about that.

Now that he and Obama are on the outs and Clinton needs a running mate. It could work. Not many if any other prominent African Americans have come out against Wright, so he may have a large following.

It’s not all the same crap, things changed a whole heck of a lot since we put in a new dysfunctional tax the people congress.



For those who expect the government to wipe their noses and their butts, they will never be happy.

Anyone who has to stand in line for hours at a government office should know that bureaucracy is never a good thing. Yet when they vote they often vote in more bureaucratic minded people, who just happen to be democrats.



When we vote in people because they promised to wipe our noses and our butts, what do you expect? If we demand to be treated like children, we will be.
