How is this proof of anything other than the fact that humans are very imaginative creatures, with the ability to give that imagination some sort of physical form?

Of course it's evidence that backs ufology. You have to look at the evidence in total.

Circumstantial evidence - cave paintings, ancient manuscripts, paintings, pictures and videos.

Direct evidence - Eyewitness accounts from Presidents, pilots, police officers, high ranking government officials and more.

You can't look at these things in isolation or you will get an incomplete picture. It's just like watching A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back but never seeing Return of the Jedi.

If you look at one piece of evidence that supports ufology in isolation, then you can try to discount it.

This is why I say without any reasonable doubt, these things exist. Not without a shadow of a doubt but without any reasonable doubt.

Who here has observed evolution a million or a billion years ago? Nobody. There's more evidence for ufology than there is for evolution. We have pictures, videos and eyewitness accounts from credible witnesses today.

Why are theories like string theory, M-Theory, Inflation, virtual particles, black holes, dark matter and dark energy easily accepted by many but ufology is dismissed out of hand when there's more evidence for ufology than there is for these things?

It's because these things do not threaten ones pre-existing belief system and ufology does. If U.F.O.'s are out there then questions like did they have anything to do with why we are here or did they have anything to do with the worlds religions and if so are these things preached by religions true. The existence of U.F.O.'s and the beings who fly them pose a threat to a belief system wether it's secular or religious in nature. This is why the pseudoskeptic will accept any explanation no matter how unreasonable it sounds.

Side Note - I'm not calling scomplex a pseudoskeptic.

It's true that ancient monuments can be evidence that a higher being exists, and has been to earth. we know through the story of exodus that the hebrews were enslaved by egyptians to build the pyramids. we also know that the hebrews were enslaved by the egyptians for a period of 400 years. it's impractical to believe that within the span of 400 years all the pyramids of egypt were constructed under the oppression of the hebrews. there are also pyramids in other various places in the world, central america, southern america, in ancient sumer and more. sure they're not all the same but their purposes were universal. coincidence? i think not.

there are monuments like Stonehenge, which archaeologists have been puzzled over for God knows how long. some have even come up with experiments as to how it would be constructed by man. those experiments concluded it would take almost 40 generations to complete the project. saying or claiming it to be man made is illogical. how can man keep alive within those 40 generations the purpose of constructing stone henge. Some say it was a calender and a watch.... would ancient man have had the intellect to construct something that is as percise as stone henge in that time?

alot of people think and have the nerve to say that the bible, and ancient texts/tablets, illustrations, are simply clever contraptions of post mans imagination. i personally find that hard to believe. there are clear similarities in the basic construct of these articles. i don't think that anyone, even today, could write a book as potent as the bible, with all it's lessons, all it's implications, all of it's grandeur.

In my humble opinion, there is something out there. in kaballah, the 4th level of understanding the hebrew bible, torah, it's explained that when adam and eve ate from the tree of knowledge of good and bad, they weren't expelled from the garden of eden, but rather they expelled God. God *withdrew* his presence from the Earth. it makes me wonder if it's our acquired knowledge of good and bad that makes so many people so skeptical about the existence of higher intelligences, more sophisticated beings. the signs are all around us, just ask yourself, are you someone who believes in miracles, or do you believe in signs.

(obvious Signs quote :p)

There is a counter theory to Hebrew enslavement.

Here again, the goings on pre and post WWII up to 911 and
the present are in question.

Tesla, Patton, Forestall, JFK and 911 may all have been obstacles in the
ruling classes given cover stories.

Hebrew enslavement may be another cover story.

As this story goes the forefathers of the Hebrews were rulers in Egypt.
That a 180.

Yes, interesting but it will never fly I know.

Oh, somehow the Dan tribe went up to Denmark and helped make
the A bombs we sent to Japan to end WWII.
And discovered America first perhaps as Vikings.
part 1
video.google.com...
part 2
video.google.com...

There is no idea of religion in the presentation, just a superficial history.
A work of conspiratorial observers is more like it, but some parts are
interesting.

Actually, I think what you are doing is watching A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and then watching Close Encounters of the Third Kind, thinking its the end of the trilogy.

I think in this case, the evidence you presented is being looked at in isolation. You are looking for evidence to fit the theory, instead of fitting the theory around the evidence. Often evidence used to point to ancient extraterrestrial visitation is taken out of context or misinterpreted, or both. By itself, a cave drawing, a manuscript, or a painting will certainly look strange; but understood in the context of the culture or beliefs of the time, they will make sense.

Of course, this isn't to say that there are not mysterious or strange things in ancient and medieval art that defy easy explaination. What comes to my mind is a woodcarving depicting what appears to be an aerial battle over a German town (The exact date and town slip my mind, I am sure someone else can give us the details). Fascinating story; but that doesn't mean it's evidence of ET visitation, it could be a lot of things.

*I cut off pictures and videos from the quote, to distinguish between ancient and modern phenomena. I think they are two seperate issues, though I know you will probably disagree.
