Nutty speculators are going to drive the economy into the toilet. They dont operate using very much reason. They seem to be driven by two things: Greed and Panic. I sometimes think Delusion may be another factor.

I just want to cry. No really, I mean I just want to sit here and cry.

What the heck is wrong with people? I'm the first to admit that I don't completely understand the gas prices and how / why they go up and down, but my God, when is enough, enough?

Is the world that much different now? All of my life I never remember gas prices jumping around the way they do now.

Why... Why.... Why.....

Gee, big suprise there. Somebody at OPEC rips off a fart, and these guys spike the prices through the roof in anticipation of a methane explosion.

This unbelievable greed is completely destroying our country.

Another reason for the oil price spike is the closure of the grangemouth oil production facility due to a strike (this will reduce the oil output from the UK by 1/3 )
