He must really think we are stupid here in CO. Although I'm about an hour out of Denver, I just don't see this happening. Even for those who are republicans I know a good amount of them who are angry that the main republican candidate is McCain, such a let down. Either way, I really don't see it happening.

The saddest part of this story is that Rush Limbaugh is dreaming of riots at the Democratic convention. Why? If that's your idea of a dream, you have some serious mental problems. Why dream of such a thing? Are you so weak in your position that you have to dream of the other side having a riot to make you look good? Just how low have the Republicans sunk to need this fat windbag to say things like this? I'd be completely embarrassed if I was a Republican. Is he saying that the Republicans suck so badly right now (and Bush's low popularity numbers point to that) that they need to wish for the other side to fall apart rather than stand on their own merits? I guess so. To say what he said on the radio just makes their side look bad. And very weak. Wouldn't you rather spend your time dreaming maybe like this: being on a beach with a beautiful woman, drink in hand, relaxing etc. ? Sad, man. Limbaugh is just so sad. I think the term is "get a life". Dreaming of riots. Big loser.

Limbaugh should be fired on the spot, banned from polluting the airways ever again, and be the first homegrown terrorist prosecuted by the feds. Wouldn't that be a nice test case? A guy loved by the Bush admin prosecuted under its own oppressive legal theories. Makes one's head spin. The hateful fear-mongers are morphing into homegrown terrorists. Do they have a bed for Limbaugh at Guantanamo? By the way, what are his genetic twins saying about this? You know, Hannity, Coulter, and that crowd?

It's clear what he meant. All his back pedaling will not recall those hateful words. He's advocating domestic terrorism. He's calling for disruption and destruction of the fundamental underpinnings of America.

What a beautifully clear exposition of Limbaugh and his ilk's hatred of the principals upon which America is founded.

This tactic brought the Nazis to power in Germany. It is used throughout our "Homeland" (in Germany it was the "Fatherland") to keep the current regime in power.

Limbaugh is advocating a Kristal Nacht right there in Denver with "the democrats" as the target. What next, Rush? Burn the Reichstag?

What a sweet irony it will turn out to be! The very laws that this hateful administration has foisted upon us, i.e. Patriot Acts, the pending Homegown Terrorism laws, etc., will bring them to their own end. Hoisted on their own petard. You gotta love it!

Well, I actually listen to his show. He's not the one calling for riots. The ultra-liberals who live in Colorado (along with rabble-rousers like Al Sharpton and the like) are the ones threatening to party like it's 1968. Limbaugh was just taking the piss out of the Democrats and their in-fighting like he's been doing for months. The man is an entertainer more than anything else.

The guy is nothing but a bloated a##hole. Who cares what he says? If you do, then you're an a##hole too.

Take a step back and think about this whole thing for just a second. Let's say, for the sake of argument, the Rush did call for riots... in fact, let's say that he very specifically said, on the air, that each and every one of his listeners take to the streets of Denver and go full-scale bat#. Now, stop for a second and picture the average Rush Limbaugh listener. Take the 'Rush haters who listen to the enemy to see what they are up to' out of the equation and really picture what is left of that audience. Can you imagine a single one of them who would actually go and riot... over anything, let alone the DNC. These are people who are too old, too scared to be arrested or to rock the boat, too busy at work or watching their kids, or too anything other than the average 'silent majority' who treasure the 'silent' part.

So what Limbaugh said, or didn't say, meant or didn't mean, doesn't really matter. Nothing is going to happen anyway. The point, she is moot.

What's most suprising about this to me is the fact that this grotesque, lard-laiden, wind-bag drug addict still even has an audience....He is truly gutter scum through and through, and yet people still listen to his idiotic emptiness.

Not necessarily... Operation Chaos comes to mind, also that bit with the neocons shipped into Florida to provide a Stalin-era-style "spontaneous demonstration" to stop the 2001 re-count... And now apparently there's some group called recreate68.org, which some I've seen have suggested might be a false flag/agent provocateur operation to give the Democratic side a bad name... and now Rush is "dreaming" of a riot in Denver?

Not to sound paranoid or anything, but at this point I wouldn't put it past them...
