I'd say that a tattoo is an expression of something within you. What you invoke has more to do with giving that form than it has to do with attracting external manifestations.

And I certainly don't call it self-mutilation.

And come on...pain?...after getting inked for an hour and forty minutes, the worst pain came from removing the tape from the underside of my upper arm the next day...I swear it felt like the skin was being peeled away!

Signs can be seen in different things, which I mean, a sign can be seen in different drawings or anything.

If the intention of the tattoo is to bring about that such thing, then it could be possible.

Since I still can't make my own thread, think this one will do just fine.

I want to make tattoos of seven deadly sins. According to Peter Binsfeld sins are associated with seven demons. So what I want is to make 7 sigils of demons corresponding to those sins as follows:

Lucifer: pride (superbia)
Mammon: greed (avaritia)
Asmodeus: lust (luxuria)
Leviathan: envy (invidia)
Beelzebub: gluttony (gula or gullia)
Amon or Satan: wrath (ira)
Belphegor: sloth (acedia)

Question is has anyone had some bad experiences with sigil tattoos ?

Why those tattoos?
My personal belief is that those sins are characteristics of every human being but characteristics that should be held under control and shouldn't control us or our behavior.

Considering occult and such, I always found it interesting, but I do not practice anything of those. Guess it's only real if you make it real.

Tattoo designs are still in progress, but it would be those 7 sigils on different parts of body, not sure will it be made as wax stamp, inside some circle, carved in stone etc. if you have some ideas feel free to share
