Water issues that are currently emerging will develop into bitter conflicts in the not too distant future when those dry states become increasingly desperate, said Milton Clark, a senior health and science adviser for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

"We will in fact get into major water wars," Clark said. "You will see water wars coming in every way, shape or form.

People have speculated for years that World War 3 might start out as a war for the most precious resource we have, potable water. When you consider how intertwined everything in this world is with water, from human hydration needs, to growth of our food, to cooling down our power generation facillities, we're just one truly severe drought away from civil unrest in which the people without attempt to take from the people who have water. Not good.

Since 75% of the fresh water supply is locked in glaciers, you would think that a company would move there and start tapping that source. Instead we should just kill each other and take everyone's water. Awesome!
