Earthquake in São Paulo

Topic started on 22-4-2008 @ 07:54 PM by tunin

Just happened, I heard from the local news few minutes ago.
Reached 5.2 Richter in the epicenter, located 270 km from São Vicente (coast area), but it affected many regions of the capital.

This freaked me out actually, I've never experienced any kind of natural disaster.

That's it.. Look at IRIS Seismic Monitor, they never haven't a earthquake near the coast but think a little... they found petroleum near the coast of San Pablo. Right?

Anyway, I don't have any problem with Brazilians but I think in a better green earth, so for every place with petroleum anyone need to close it.

PS: Nosotros encontramos 8 barriles de petroleo en una provincia! Tomen brasileños! Jeje.

Haha! Yes, it was found but it's not in exploration yet.
I really hope that is not the cause, since it can be irreversible.

Anyway, updating the story, it was felt in 5 different states and it was the 5th largest earthquake felt here.
