Company makes advertisement-clouds

www.msnbc.msn.com

Now, one company aims to indulge those flights of fancy by actually making "clouds" in the shapes of, well, anything, from the Atlanta Braves' tomahawk to Mickey Mouse's iconic head.

These clouds are actually a mixture of soap-based foams and lighter-than-air gases such as helium, something like what you'd get if you married helium balloons with the solutions that kids use to blow bubbles from plastic wands.

This piece of news touches on a mix of subjects...

Will corporations start owning ad-space in our skies?

Is there anywhere we will be left alone from advertisement?

Does this constitute weather manipulation?

We could expect a few more UFO sightings if they get this system down.

Or maybe we wont be able to tell the difference anyway!

Oh THAT'S just amazing...

First they try to change our emotions by showing us something we can relate to very easily (for acceptance), then they change things up in a way we may not be able to tell what's real and what's artificial.

Man, NOW I feel we ARE living in some sort of "matrix" environment.

We must stand back a bit and start to ponder about life... REAL life.

Peace

At first reading the title: I got angry.

How dare they screw with our clouds!!!!

But now I realize they are just making bubbly objects to drift into the sky.

Now I think that's actually cool.
If the object is man-made and does not interfere with the natural clouds, why not?

It would just be a pain to see dozens of things like that floating around in a beautiful clear sky.

Looks nice; much better than dry old billboards.

I wonder how graffiti and vandalism will affect this new form of advertising... maybe hoodlums would fire aluminium strips into the cloud and make it rain or something- who know?!

Nice to see a new advertising format, theres nothing sinister here.
