How do we start the revolution?

I hardly see any type of revolution on the horizon made by the people.

Maybe these natural disasters will start a revolution, or, if something actually happens to Americans, like having to get a chip under their skin, then maybe Americans will begin to 'think' about what is happening.

hmmm how can yo say that, yet you are part of a web forum that is all about NOT kicking back and just enjoying the show, bu delving further into what is not spoon fed to us through government IV's and the media's TV dinners?

THERE IS SOMETHING TO DO NOW!

there is something to do ever moment of every day. there is always a way to change the world, inevery stupid or genius opportunity that life throws at you, or that you happen to find.

we can start a revolution one person at a time. im not preaching that in 47 days there will be huge national coverage of "the peasant uprising"..ya know, all french revolution style.

but that doesnt mean you cant change something.

WHEN DID YOU ALL LOSE FAITH LIEK THIS? ive known too many people who let their dreams die. or worse yet, murdered those dreams so that they didnt have to suffer or starve. because obviously, there was "nothing to do."

there is always something to do. and you may say "well scat, youre not doing anything constructive, youre sitting ona computer buying into the system"

im writing, im looking through art books, im searching for a long lost friend who i need to speak with and paint with again, im chewing gum to release stimulus in my brain, and on top of all that, most importantly, im expressing my views whether or not somebodys going to chase them down.

because you can change the world.

you can have a revolution.

theres always something you can do.

A people is never conquered. The only people who are conquered are the ones who are too lazy get up off their ass and do something (or they are too afraid of the consequences, which could be "death," death isn't anything to be afraid of though) - which is most people. People talk and talk about doing something, but nothing ever gets done. That is why the people in the government have taken control, its because they aren't sitting on their asses doing nothing - they are up there doing something. That something isn't good of course, but, power corrupts. Once most people have a taste of it, they want more. Then after they have more, what do they want? More! It's animal instinct. You have to stay Alpha at whatever costs.

revolution is possible here, but people don't want it.

Free your mind means don't fall for the lies of the government and cnn etc. You know that. Search for the truth! Laws are restricting the freedom of expression until it's too late, like getting a chip in your skin will make you think about what's happening.

there isnt just a "revolution" without the help of many people with their beautiful talents. theres 3 muses. the fighter the scholar and the voice. if all 3 posess you then kick ASH we've got osmething going!

how many times have you heard people complain about their jobs? their schedules? how incomplete they are? how much they want to get away?

i know people that dont because theyre simply scared, or they are content which is even worse. content, the absence of emotion. in my mind, being content is just an excuse to stop trying.

thats what we've turned into. a society of content people.

If we were to run Ads on TV, Radio... for a revolution, an up rising. Would we be conctered terrorist? I so agree something needs to change.

Yeah, everybody complains about their jobs, like slaves. With the laws in the U.S., I'd be scared to say anything publicly against the administration, people who try to start some positive change get snipered.

the television will not be revolutionized. the television is something you sit in front of so that you dont have to think. unless of course youre watching the history channel or quuer eye for the straight guy, both very informative (hahahah just kidding!)

terrorists bring fear. where is the fear (except for people that are at the top of the capitalist food cahin of course) in saying- "sick of lthe way life is? screw it!"

the tv will not be revolutionized. even though amazing things are supposed to happen there cough cough yeah right. but his ties into something i wrote. ill post. in a sec. once i find it.

Most people don't even know what a revolution is to even be a part of one.

I think our dream of a revolution is fading away. It's in OUR GRASP but we can't grab it.

With all these laws the government is and will pass such as the Patriot Act, a revolution will be impossible. If you so much think the word revolution you'll be thrown into jail.


Someone said it in this thread. We've been divided and conquered. People won't unite for a revolution.

The last REAL revolution was the Black Muslim movement by Malcolm X followed closely by the Black Panther movement and both parties were torpeoded by the government.

Soon, a revolution will be more of a fantasy than reality.

haha! like free speech except not, right? haha! im not afraid of saying anything against them. i have and i will. im not saying overthrow the legal system and kill the aristocracy (oh crap imeant government officials, im thinking french revolution!)

im saying free minds form this stupid routine we throw our lives into. this will eventually change laws and views, but im not saying lets go storm the bastille...i mean senate!!!!!!

But what can we do? It will be very difficult to start a revolution against those in power over the people. The elite have control of the media. One possible great resource is the internet, even then a lot of people don't visit or see it like TV.

The elite have too much power.

Thats my point, if we make TV Ads for people to see, it will make them think. These kids have made hate raps, and Ads for there people, why? It a good wat to recrute.

what can we do? we can refuse to get off of our soapboxes (sorry thats my cliche of the week ive been using it constantly!).

start small. im in the preparing stages of starting the lo-life uprising at my school. see the school newspaper (which, might i add, cough cough SUCKS) is called hi-life (like high school, hi-life? ahhhhh...)

and to me, this is a newspaper for highschool kids.

and aslo to me, theres a huge difference between highschool kids & kids that are just stuck in highschool.

thats what lo0life is. im joining the newspaper next year (yes yes, trojan horse style) and when the distribution begins (kids in the classes pass them out for free) im shoving my crappy, most likely 2 page zine into about 100 of the newspapers.

see whathappens next.

and its gonna start rolling from there.

think of something. you can do it. quit trying to reach people through a specific media. reach them like this:
