Dr. Pepper commercials say that there is a blend of 23 flavors.

I like Diet Dr. Pepper from time to time yet I can't figure out what
the flavors are.

I think Dr. Pepper probably came about this way. They were
cleaning out all the drippings from the various vats into one
containers. A co-worker dared another co-worker to drink it
and **tada** there you have it Dr. Pepper! lol :w:

I never understood why the whole 23 flavors commercial would appeal to anyone. When it comes to processed foods and beverages, less is more. I'd take a few natural flavors over 23 artificial flavors any day.

Naturals flavors over artificial. lol That reminds of sometime my mom would say too!

She's always preaching to me to give up a lot of things becasue
of potasium sorbate, MSG etc. I know she's right but sheesh if
I gave it up what would be left to eat or drink?

I'm a water and beer kinda guy. I drink like 6 or 7 bottles(water lol) a day usually. I'll have an occasional soda, with some rum or whiskey of course.

Did you know that there is more than one formula ?
I didn't, until last week. I was in Austin Texas ordering some BBQ, and noticed a big sign that said "WE HAVE DUBLIN DR. PEPPER".
So I bought a bottle to wash down those delicious Baby Back Ribs.

It DID taste a bit different. I suppose the difference is in the sweetener.
the Dublin Style uses the original recipe that contains cane sugar, as opposed to high fructose corn syrup.

A little history can be found at the Dublin, Texas Website.

As I was trying to find some hint as to what the 23 flavors
were I noticed on one web site it spoke about the different
formulas as you mentioned.
