WASHINGTON (AFP) - Researchers have developed a new drug that can protect healthy cells and bone marrow against anti-cancer radiation therapy and maybe even against the effects of a nuclear bomb, a study showed Thursday.

Well, this is nice. Maybe everyone can get used to the idea of a limited nuclear war now. I wonder when they're going to start handing these things out to the troops? Another step in preperation for the inevitable perhaps?

But i'll never really get used to the idea of small scale nuke war, although
it does seem more possible than ever before!

What bugs me about drug companies (besides being monkey mutilators),
is that they push for development and release of new drugs so rapidly,
ya gotta wonder about all the side effects!
