"Fate and Destiny" VS "Choice and Freewill"

Many people believe that there entire life was set in place before they were born and others believe that no such thing could ever be preplanned.

In my confused mind i have a hard time trying to believe one over the other. The reason i am confused is because it must be one or the other and in this decision couldn't freewill be masked as destiny? Or am i wrong?

For example, if i decide on one major life option and i believe in freewill couldn't it still be planned from the start? And i had no choice in the matter at all? Or should i fake destiny and blindly think i have a choice?

What is your opinion? What do you believe?

And if it is planned who is planning it?
