I have been waiting to see if anyone else spotted this. But since I still haven't read a single comment about it, here it is:
Luca Scantamburlo,, the italian writer and journalist who interviewed William Rutledge in 2007, posted this letter to the public on his website. He
talks about "difficult and sensitive matters", and wants to protect the serenity of his relatives and friends.
He wrote this just last month, and now we see those new and fake videos at Revver.com. I can't help thinking - was he told by someone to shut up? Has
someone made sure that Luca Scantamburlo will keep well away from writing about the new videos and analyzing them? After all, this man has been in
contact with the original Retiredafb, you know, the guy that has now disappeared completely. The guy that posted the original video of the spaceship
and gave a lot of additional information in his interview with Luca Scantamburlo. Information we are supposed to forget all about now that we are busy
debunking the new videos that (in my opinion) were made for one reason only - to convince us that William Rutledge as a hoaxer right from the
start.
Anyway, here is Luca Scantamburlo' letter. Read it and make up your own mind:
"A LETTER TO THE PUBLIC:
BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES
I have decided not to write anymore about difficult and sensitive matters, as I did so far since year 2006. From now on, it is possible I will write
something about ancient history, astronomy... but with a different approach. However, I will not expose myself anymore on difficult subjects. I
realized that at the moment as reporter and writer I have not any future, above all under the economic and contractual point of view. And without a
contract with a publisher, there are not the need guarantees to carry on a difficult work in the mass media world. But one of the most important
things, is that I want to protect the serenity of my relatives and friends...
About me, there is another important question: if I want to live and survive, of course I need to work somewhere. And every firm has its own
deontological aspect of the contract for its employees. It is mandatory to respect it, even after the end of any kind of contract if requested by the
Law.
Maybe one day you will have the chance to read my unpublished essay; read about it at the following link: The Scientific Search for a Missing
Planet.
I wish my achievements and the attention I have had so far - especially in North America - may help the decision makers and the general public to
deal with the future.
