BOSTON, Apr 08, 2008 (Thomson Financial via COMTEX) -- BA | news | PowerRating | PR Charts -- Boeing Co. will update the status of its 787
Dreamliner aircraft program on Wednesday, with at least some Wall Street analysts expecting the Chicago-based jetliner manufacturer to report further
delays.
American Technology Research maintained a sell rating on Boeing shares as the firm expects a new three-to-six-month delay in the 787 program.
"Expect Boeing to positively spin the delay saying it will provide a greater window on the flight test program, which could lessen the unknown
'unknowns'," American Tech said. "While we agree the delays will help in terms of additional simulation testing, successfully flying the six text
aircraft is what investors want to see."
the market are not impressed with booing - first after the crying over the tanker deal - and the 7-late-7 - all the PR in the world still doesn`t mean
a flying aircraft - that and the 747-8 has 2 years worth of orders and thats it.
