I wondered, how come I am stuck in the year 1984? then I realized it wasn't really in my mind, but I was actually jumping from 1984 to 2008. Belive it or not, I may be a Jumper.

You see, all the signs are there. I listen to Depeche Mode, watch Return of the Jedi. Everything in my life actually appears to be from the year 1984. My sister today asked, "Why do you dress like that"?. I wear jeans, a Star Wars old Tshirt and I have the 80's hairdo. Then I realized all the radio stations on my radio dial play music from 80's but the majority of songs are from 1984. I even own stuff from 1984, comic books, action figures, shoes, coins, etc. All of the movies, I own range from between 1980-1984.

Want more proof? went to karaoke last night, sang the song, "JUMP" by Van Halen. Released in 1984!
How's that for a coincidence? Heck all of my CD's in my Wallet are from the 80's.
My theory is that as seen in the Butterfly effect, I jump back to that year for some reason. I don't know why exactly, but I do know that I am surrounded by people, things and events from 1984. So just wanted to say hello from the year 1984. If you want to know what's going on here, just ask. I hope the future isn't so bad.

Although the CD was was about in the mid 80s, they didn't really become mainstream till the 90s - so maybe your just stuck in the eighties rather than jumping about

You're NOT stuck in 1984. There's no such thing as time being differentiated in such little atoms of eternity. I believe in simultaneous existance, that we exist in all time, like a reflection in drops of water, in the rain hitting the ocean or a pond or puddle or pain of glass.

I don't know how it works. Usually it happens mostly at night. But it's been going on for the last 3 years or so, just noticed it. Sometimes I would find stuff from the 80's laying around in my room, or noticed the radio stations are always tuned to the 80's stations.

Yeah that's it. I think that it also happens when my brain is under lots of stress and I drink alcohol. Maybe the alcohol induces the Butterfly effect. I'm not too sure. Not a hallucinaton either.

Retrosynchronicity refers to an occurrence in the 'now' that resonates with personal past experiences (like a deja-vu that links you to happier times, rather than a mere coincidence). I have fond memories of the 1980's and have gone through mild retrosynchronicities myself, however I've never felt this to the degree that you obviously are.

Savor it, as it is a unique experience - but also try to ascertain the purpose behind it. Nothing is random.

Weren't you like 11 years old in 1984? If you jump back and forth, why aren't you 11 when you go back to that year?

What happened that was so special for you in 1984?

84 was a great year, I have to say many things were happening during that time in the spiritual realms that could quantify beyond your wildest imagination why you find yourself pulled back there. You were probably at your physical best, and were tuned in on a very deep level to the intensity.

What sorts of things were happening in 1984 in the spirit realms?

I'm interested in reading anything you could suggest about that.

I was big as a house with twin boys that year, who were born in August. They are fraternal twins, who are very different from each other. One was a little angel and the other was a devil. I almost lost them due to a premature labor, but always sort of felt there was a reason why they both ended up being ok.

Jedi, I have always liked your posts. I never could figure half the time if you are being serious or joking though. If you're being serious then maybe you should get hypnotherapy and see why 1984 is so important to you.

Hi Toodles. See I'm always serious. But I like writing and I've taken numerous english courses. I like writing threads about serious subjects, but then I like to spice them up. give them a fun about them. But i'm naturally like that, I usually say something in person that's serious but I'll say it jokingly. You know what I mean? I also like writing comedy and movie scripts and I want to keep the topic interesting. think of it as a way to escape the realities. I think that if you follow my writing style, you'd find that I start out joking about it, or saying silly things about the subject, but then I'll get serious and I think I do that because It makes it easier for me to talk about. Also, time travel many people take it as a joke, and I know many won't believe me at all, so for those people the thread can be fun and for those who believe it, it can be a learning experience.

I don't know what happened in 1984 that's so important. I can't recall that year too much..Meaning I don't have a clear timeline of what happened that year. Maybe that's part of the clue. hypnoteraphy..yeah, sounds good, just too afraid to do it.
