China reports Birdflu in Tibetan poultry

www.alertnet.org

BEIJING, April 7 (Reuters) - China said on Monday that an outbreak of birdflu had killed 268 chickens at a poultry farm in the Tibet region.

Tests by a national laboratory showed the birds had died from the H5N1 strain of the virus, but it is now under control in the affected area, the Agriculture Ministry said in a statement on its Web site (www.agri.gov.cn).

Now I wonder is this really another outbreak or is China just killing Tibetan chickens? If a massive outbreak occurs China would be the worst affected as a huge amount of its population depend on poultry for food.

I have believed that chinese scientist have power in science. They are the ones who created diseases and putting on people. Such as SARS and Birdflu...plus they can control weather!!!! I dunno about you but Chinese has some kind of advanced technology. I'M just speculating but think about it.

Are you now reporting on 3 consecutive bird flu outbreaks. India, South Korea and now China? Or am I reading this wrong?

I am reporting on three consecutive outbreaks. So you are reading that right. If more happen I'll post them.
