Why sure they did; it's the CIA!

Ohh, the web we weave, when we practice to deceive...

Governments propped up; Governments toppled; Countries
used for the drug trade; countries armed; countries doomed;
Intelligence Schmelligence! By the time it trades hands, the
'dumbtelligence' is manipulated to suit the decider's wants!

Ya gotta love our 'spooks'!

Stories like this make it even more insane that we are trying to attack Iran for meddling in Iraq. Look at our own behaviour. Look at how much manipulation we have had in South America. Hell, look at what we have done to Iran. It seems to me that we have done FAR more meddling in Iran than they could even dream of doing to us.

If Iran attacked Mexico and staged huge ammounts of troops on our border, do you think we would just sit back and not try to undermine them? I don't think so.

Do as I say, not as I do.

If a lot of conspiracy theories are true, then it would make sense for the continued support of the Taliban by the CIA. We would need continued social disorder for a reason to stay in this country for a long time, in order to eventually go after their neighbors. Continued destabilization is probably the preferred method for our spooks.

---

We really need to stay out of South America, imo. We have caused so much upheaval there with our involvement in supporting guerrillas and coups of democratically elected governments. The sad part is, when we see our MSM report this, they show the rioting citizens and then make a point in editorials of how if the citizens wanted to stop this, they would. We have created a good bit of turmoil in South America, then publicly shown the peoples of South America as incapable of forming democracies, as if it is somehow in their genes. :shk:

But, that's our foreign policy, and with decades upon decades of minding everyone else's business, we have created directly or indirectly most of the problems we see arise.

aol : agreeing out loud! Star!

Well said. Yup, it's kinda disgusting, how they operate. sshhh, wouldn't
want 'em after us for this- lol

Yeah, niteboy82, you know it- the interference of foreign gov's has been
something i noticed back in the 80's, but as you said, MSM doesn't
mention that! Glad for sites like this, with our First Amendment rights
blazing! It's funny, me & some of my buddies were just talking about
S. A., and how if things keep getting worse in the states, maybe we
should live down there!
