Protesters have been voicing their opinions following the olympic torch around London today.
There have been over 35 arrested with one man managing to grab hold of the torch before being wrestled to the ground and undoubtedly arrested.

It seems this will be the general theme as the torch travels around the world and would be seen to be a major upset the the games later this year.

At least we live in a country where peaceful protests are accepted without punishment

Quote from you
"There have been over 35 arrested"

I,m sure those arrested were not standing there clapping as the torch went past, something tells me they were doing more than that.
There is a difference between peaceful protesting and causing trouble.

If by that you mean, storming the procession in an attempt to steal the torch from an ex-blue peter presenter, sure.
