Thank you. Yes they are in a hurry to mutiply. They are fertile at 5 weeks so just to be safe I'll seperate them at 4 weeks. Luckely I already got 2 fair size hamster cages.

Are your hamsters living together in one cage? I'm still in doubt wether I should seperate each of them in a single cage or can put a bunch of the same gender together. I hear different stories about it, do you have any experience with that?

Yes, the dwarf hamsters are fine in groups up to 5 or 6, they actually prefer it. Any other type of hamster has to be kept on it's own. As long as you separate males and females you'll be fine.

Thank you for your answer. I have bought two big cages now so that there's enough space for a group of same gender hamsters in each of them.
