So... we've got "long time member" and "male" so far...

Is that all? I feel like I should help...

I noticed some comments above that I can help out with.

It is NOT a mod.

This is sort of like that "Dead Chick in the Envelope" game Dean & Rog play on the local morning radio show every week.

Peace

Of course your comment could be an anagram- that is if- it is actually a:

Long membered male

Sorry- I couldn't help it. I just watched Jimmy Kimmel!

You know what? I'm an English teacher so am meant to pick up on linguistic nuances and that, but didn't pick up on the fact that SO said 'he'.

That's undo out of the equation then...

I'm with Zorgon and mikesingh (sorry for stealing your idea, Antar) then.

Sack me, someone...

What is a Conspiracy Master? (Yup, I'm that ignorant, and guilty of not thoroughly scouring whatever documentation defines it.)

The shame....

I'm not sure there's an exact definition for them, but they are members who have demonstrated an ability to formulate their own opinions about conspiracies and have proven their right to their own subforum.

There's 4 right now, you can check the board home under "conspiracy master forums" (jritzman, justin oldham, john rhodes, and norio hayakawa).

I can't wait to find out who #5 will be!

This is my take (usual disclaimers apply - being I am dumb, know nothing and claim to speak for noone).

A conspiracy master is someone who knows a lot about a given subject and has done a lot of research on their area and tend to have written books or be well known in their field.

As such they can be relied upon to comment upon certain issues to the ATS membership as well as answering specific questions about their work or ideas?

Amongst other things.

Feel free to add more, 'o' powers that be.

Well, I'm sure he will a roaring success.
His musings are both informative and challenging.

Either ChiKey or jedi would have been more entertaining though.

Nice one, Antar...

If it is mikesingh, then it will certainly be interesting, and - based on the number of times he has been plagiarised - completely earned.

Good sleuthwork again, Antar.

I have a couple of guesses.

If it's a long time active member, mikesingh would be a great choice.

If it's a long time member, who hasn't been active in a while, well I'm not going to say it out loud but I'm surprised no one has mentioned his name yet. I believe he was mentioned in an ATS MIX show awhile back.

I'll leave it at that for now.

edited to add: Having your real name is a requirement for a Conspiracy Master here I believe. If Isaac Koi happens to be his real name or he would be willing to divulge his real name, he would be first on my list.

I like guessing games, what can I say.

I'll post it when I come back online later if no one has guessed his name yet.

Awwwwwwwwww

That's not fair - you're just not entering into the spirit of it are you now?

Only joking.

Hasn't Isaac Koi just started posting again after a period of "absence"?

I seem to recall that he is a barrister or something similair so I could hardly imagine him wanting to divulge his real name here on ATS.

Now what a stellar return to favour it would be though.

First, Dr. Love, you leave Jimmy the Lip out of this. He has enough troubles with the IRS without having to explain an unpaid job, like anybody would believe that.

And goosdawg, Me! thanks, but I barely mastered the right silverware for polite company. (And besides, we're sure it's not a mod anyway.)

So I think nobody has hit it yet. I think it's Issac Koi. Good researcher. Open minded. Inquiring. Good writer. Stuffed shirt...er... British. (Sorry Isaac, couldn't stop myself from having you on.
)

And if my points jump 10,000 or more, you'll know I'm on to something. (And personally, I think he would be a natural.)

No fair, you type, and maybe think, faster than I do.

But then, great minds think alike also comes to mind. (We'll split the 10,000 points for being geniuses.

Does that really happen here? plagiarism? really? I'm not sure to what end? Do you mean people use your argument (implying it is their own) or actually publishing someone's words with out due credit? Sorry to inquire in such a light hearted thread, but plagiarism is one of my pet peeves.
