I just got this popup ad here on the forum, telling me that I'm the one millionth visitor here on ATS...
Clicked on it and they sent me here:

www.patriottravel.us...

Apparently I won a cruise of some sort.
Is it true???

I don't buy it...

I just got this pop up that said I was the 2,000,000 visitor to this site.

And because visiting ATS is such an honor...I owe THEM a cruise.

Say it can't be so....I don't buy it.

...or should I say...I don't WANT to buy it, cruises are expensive.

Oh well.

Never trust any of those things, make sure you click the real 'x' in the top right of the window too, they will get you no matter where you click, even in the often present 'Close' Box or 'Cancel' box.

Didn't mean to re-open a thread that passed away in 2002...I just couldn't resist.

I mean where else could I use my "I owe THEM a cruise" bit.

Heh, I didn´t even notice that.

But I did notice that add recently on ats.

ATS will soon have 100,000,000 visitors though...

The ones that hold you captive drive me nuts. There is no way to get out of the ad without closing your browser.

I guess I could try to kill the process.. maybe next time.

And the funny thing is if after the seven-point-something million more views when it actually happen, the person will think it is an add if it is announced that he/she is visitor number 100,000,000
