I really hate dreams where parts of my body change. They bother me... alot.

I had a dream once that a square section of my arm had been cut into thousands of little grid-lines so that it looked porous like a fishes gills or something? Man it was terrible. The thought of it just made me so uneasy...

I've also had dreams where a large gash is somewhere on my body but it doesn't bleed, it's just a large open slice of flesh.

I don't believe that I am my material body, but to imagine my body being intensely 'wrong' like your brocolli situation : it's very disturbing.

A few days ago I dreamt that on the palms of my hand there were growing tiny warts. I ectracted one with tweezers and underneath the wart there was an oystermushroom growing! So I had extracted an oyster mushroom! Eeeeeek!

Op, maybe your body is yearning for you to get a bit spiritual.
You said you cut it off and it grew back, maybe you keep denying anything related to spirituality and the yearning keeps coming back.

Lastnight I had someone doing surgery on my right arm,

turns out i awake with my right arm completely asleep i literally thought it was off before i opened my eyes as i was hitting it for 5 minutes to get the circulation flowing again. You think that dreams scary? My arms never been asleep like that before =/
