I'm currently listening to Matchbox Twenty's "Exile on Mainstream" which is a 2 disc EP/Greatest Hits combo. The six songs on the first disc are brand new and the 11 on the second are the singles from 1996-2004. They are my favorite band. I see a few folks in here are from Australia and England.... Well, I have a few clips from the 1998 live show in Australia when MB20 was touring for their debut album. These songs are not released on any of their cds. The song "Tired" is a song written for 'Tabitha's Secret', which was Matchbox Twenty minus the guitar players. Well, enjoy and tell me what you think.

Here's a kick-ass cover of the Beatles song "Don't Let Me Down" sung by Kyle Cook and Rob Thomas. Kyle is a kick-ass guitarist.

And here's a cover of the song "Time After Time" while they were in Australia.

I have to say, this is one great AMERICAN band loved by people around the world. Rob Thomas is an incredible songwriter and a class act with his fans.

Ive been listening to this band my friend introduced to me recently called Kamelot and Ive also been listening to Coheed and Cambera.

They are pretty awesome bands. They are both story based music. As in: all the lyrics are based around books or comics they write. Kamelot is a metal type band, with prog elements as well as a alternate - more of an alternate/metal mix with a little prog. Coheed on the other hand is alternate/prog with expermantal type stuff throwen in.

Go cheak out their music on myspace or something.

I am listening to Khetzal's album "Corolle"
Psychedelic/Goatrance from 2005.
Totally mindblowing spiritual Goatrance; a return to the epic melodies of the 90's with the technologically superior beats of this day.

I bet not many people here have heard of it, or the genre.
Most people think that psytrance is a kind of housemusic, which it is not.
House uses trance rhythms too, but you can say that about any form of music, even schlagers. _javascript:icon('')

I like Daughtry. Their non-singles are better than the singles. Listen to a song called, "Breakdown". It's actually a combination of two songs he wrote in his old band "Absent Element." They are called "Breakdown" and "Convictions." Have a listen to the Daughtry song "Breakdown" and then listen to "Breakdown-Conviction" from Absent Element.

This last link is to thier myspace page. It has 3 songs including the original version of Breakdown. The song "Keep Me Close" is really good too.
