HIV you would what?

A: Still date guys (gals)/ have relationships with them and try not to have sex
B: Remove yourself from dating and relationship scene
C: Still try to have sex with condom use and not even bother to tell the guy (gal) of your HIV
D: Other (explain)

If you picked A, would you tell the guy (gal) you got HIV upfront or wait till just before things get heated up between you two?

I would hope that precautions would be taken so that would not be an issue.
That being said, the duty is yours to tell whomever you were with, as I would do, and if it were me, I would refrain from relations with anyone.I could not live with myself knowing I had given that to anyone.

I agree with AD. Hopefully I would have taken all precautions to prevent catching HIV. In the event I did catch it, my dating days would be over, unless I could find another persone that didn't need to sleep with me, but then she would probably just sleep around on me. That's not something I would be able to handle.

Prevention is best, but what if?

I would have to remove myself from that kind of life. Completely. However saying that. I bet with the amount of people that have HIV nowadays you could find someone else that has HIV so that it would not be an issue.

Certainly you should tell your partner. Honesty is the best policy as they say.
