Shoktek, music relfects the times. The 60' and 70's were turbulent, the music was much more radical as it bitched about society. I think we're in
luck, as far as music goes, because " I see the times achanging" back to that again.

btw
Rap ain't all that bad, I enjoy a lot of it, but just like any genre of music there are going to be artist that suck total ass and are just basically
clones of another artist but flawed.
Just like how I think Metallica sucks sweaty ape balls, but that doesn't mean all rock sucks.
Anyways my 2 shekels.

I dont think music nowadays is necessarily worse, just different. It all depends on what you like, and what constitutes as talent to you as an
individual.

Rock and roll peaked out in the early to mid seventies and has went down hill ever sense.
I am old enough, and luckey enough to have seen in concert some of the finest musicians in history

Yes I really dont own a rock record that has been published since 1982,
And I envy you so much with your concerts, I have no one left to watch except Metallica, except they tour with a bunch of new # anyways.

I could have equalled you there, Agent. But, I recently acquired David Bowie's Reality. It's quite good. And I understand his current
record is also good.

hey man i listen to mid 80's-mid 90's alternative,indi,underground,collage,grunge,teen age agnst rock..like nirvana,smashing pumpkins, counting
crows are a few of the main stream bands i listen to.but i hate music today

Yeah I picked up the Chili Peppers greatest hits and thats about as modern as its gotten for me, oh and Audioslave.
