What are you going to do when Murdoch buys up Twitter?

LOL! I signed up, too and that is very nearly the same thing that my hubby said to me. He also claims that he will just sit and point and laugh at me the next time I call someone a twit.

It is a neat idea and I am still working on figuring it all out and getting set up, but I'm already having fun just exploring the site. I am there with the same name as I use here, Glencairn, and being a bit newer to ATS, still don't know a whole lot of people, but I would love the chance to get to know more of the members here. I've already learned so much from everyone. This Twitter site is certainly going to make it even more interesting and it will hopefully make it even easier to meet ATS'ers.

I hadn't since when reading his first post it only appeared necessary if the name you joined Twitter with was different to your ATS one.

I have U2U'd him now.

Ok I joined Twitter. Not really sure what to do now.

As usual I'll get one of my grandchildren to help me understand better how to navigate Twitter.

I'd love to see that.

If anyone is still waiting on their points, the likely reason is that you've used a different name on Twitter than on ATS... and the names are case sensitive. If your Twitter name is even a bit different than your ATS name, please send me a U2U... otherwise, there's no way for me to know.

My ATS username was taken on Twitter.
So, I had to use sizzle28 instead of just sizzle. I did send you a U2U. I am aware that you are a very busy guy.

Well, I have been taking a good look at this Tweeter and have not quite figured out everything but it has a really good potential to be a good tool to get some of our threads out there to other people about really important topics.

I think that it is really important to have everyone here click on the "Public Timeline" link up on the top right hand corner of the page and that takes you to a page that is basically an overview of what the last 20 people have posted as their update. Since everyone is just typing a short summery of what they are thinking and since there are a lot of people on there doing it you can refresh the page and get the last 20 people that posted something and you can refresh the page seconds later and there will 20 completely new people that have just posted something.

The "Public Timeline" page just gives you a good look at all of the different type of people that are posting their thoughts on Tweeter.

I have more to say on this but overall it looks very good.

Mine is ATS_TheBorg, not The_BORG, as some have thought.
