I wasnt all that sure where to post this, but I saw some poems here in the collaberative writing forum so I thought I would post here.
Every now and again I have a dream. In my dream I am sitting at a desk and there is a piece of paper in fromt of me. I pick up the paper and there is
a poem on it. Each time I have this dream it is a different poem. I'll be the first to admit that the poems arent all that great, however I think
these dreams are kind of neat. I have written them down and want to share them with you now.
Here are those poems:
"Death Living"
Flight in fighting, said the ace of the divine
Tis a dreamers worst nightmare,
to experience life,
ignorant to world love,
knowing only fear.
Having revealed truth before it is time.
Flight in fighting, said the ace of the divine
Tis a dreamers worst nightmare,
revealing truth before proper time.
"Night"
The sun falls deep beneath the horizon,
the moon rises high over.
The earth continues its dance through the stars
as the night creatures come out to play.
"Silently (Bedtime)"
Standing silently by a creek
feel the water streaming past my feet.
Birds flying through the air
see a rabbit go into his lair.
Listening to natures sounds
Birds chirping
Animals lurking
A storm is coming
humming birds stop humming.
Look up at the sky
rain begins to fall.
I run to the house for cover as mother calls.
"The end of the world"
Waves break along the beach
washing up seaweed and shells.
People swimming in the ocean
the salt you can really smell.
People surf, fish and sail
boats in the water leave a trail.
Fish in the ocean swim about
That is, untill there is a drought.
One by one the sealife dissapears
seeing this brings the whole world to tears.
Slowly the people die without water
so many dead bodies it looks like a slaughter
It's the end of the world.
"The Gateway"
If you travel around the world
youll find a gateway to outerspace.
Following the path of this gateway
leads to an undiscovered place.
This place is enchanted
and surrounded by love.
The unimaginable beauty
is completly undreamed of.
Some people dont believe
others choose to.
Those who dont
will some day know what is true.
We all go to the gateway
no matter how we act.
There is no bad place
that my friend is a fact.
Those are the poems that I saw in my dreams. I once put them on some poetry website along with others that didnt come from my dreams. I later found
out that the website I posted them on was more or less a scam. Like I said earlier, ill be the first to admit they arent all that good as far as poems
go, However I find it cool how these poems came about.

I liked your word associations in "Death Living". Had an eerie flow to it.
Also liked the dream - scene, with a different poem on the desk every
time. Made me want to go to sleep and hopefully find a poem too.
But who would have written it ? Me ? Or my other self ?

Dreams are funny things arent they? I dont know who wrote it. Was it me? My subconcious? someone else? "Death living" is one of my favorites that I
dreamed up. I also liked "Night".
