Bush Presidential Pardons---The Raw List

Presidential pardons -- the raw list
From time to time, President Bush has pardoned and commuted sentences. It's often a wide array of crimes involved.

Here's the press release the Justice Department just emailed listing the folks the president let off the hook this week for everything from heroin importation to selling bird parts:

LOL.

Quite a bit of leniency for Cocaine and Heroin traffickers. I wonder why? CIA-related perhaps?

I expect this pardon list to grow quite a bit near the last weeks and days of his term, particularly with cabinet members of his. That is, if any of them even go to trial with this completely corrupted, croney-laiden Supreme Court.

What a load of crap. Letting criminals off the hook. Just like that. Consider the tax payers money that went into fighting these cases in court, to only have Bush throw them out. What about the hard-working people that pay these taxes?

Where's the democracy in that?

Well Mr. President, you've come a long way from whiskey and coc aine!

It might be nice, to pardon, say, a 15 year old Canadian boy currently being held at Guantanamo Bay. That would be a reasonable pardon in my eyes.

Nice list of his pardons. Some are a bit shaky!

What about Clinton's, tho?? He has some that are pretty good, too.

16 members of FALN, a Puerto Rican nationalist group that set off about 100+ bombs in NYC and Chicago.

Edgar and Vonna Jo Gregory: Bank Fraud. They were buddies of Tony Rodham, Hillary's younger bro.

Carlos Vignali: Coke trafficking.

Marc Rich: tax evasion. His wife dumped a bunch of money into the Clinton Presidental Library and Hillary's Senate campaign. He was also a middleman for the Iraqi Oil for Food program.

Roger Clinton: Drug charges. This is Billy's half brother.

And my fav:

Melvin J. Reynolds, a Democratic Congressman from Illinois, who was convicted of bank fraud, 12 counts of sexual assault, obstruction of justice, and solicitation of child pornography had his sentence commuted on the bank fraud charged and was allowed to serve the final months under the auspices of a half way house. He had served his entire sentence on child sex abuse charges before the commutation of the later convictions.

I found all this on the Wikipedia Bill Clinton entry.

You'd think that a president would pardon those that really earned one, not someone that paid bribes, etc.

Thanks Jerico65 for the comparison, it really gives us some relativity.

For alot of people, history begins the day they were born, or for some, history began when Bush became President.

Look at some of the sentences. The commutation, Patricia Beckford got over 20 years for 50 grams of crack coc aine. Damn, she's already served 16 years!!
But back in 1975, Robert Michael Milroy, only got 7 and a half years for the importation of heroin.
And the bank embezzler, William Bruce Butt, a measly three years probation. The illegal gun dealer, Mariano Garza Caballero, 34 days imprisonment, four years probation, and a $1,000 fine.
Hmmm, it's easy to tell who the real criminals are.

Heh-I know it seems like I'm just a Bush basher, but make no mistake, I'm in complete agreement with you here Jerico. Bubba, and even his Nightmare partner in crime currently running, are beyond crooked as well.

This ain't no bi-partisan thing, they have ALL been dirty as hell for the past few terms, at the very least.

The Clintons have a trail of dead bodies ( a.k.a. "Suicides") around them that are absolutely astronimical, of people who had dealings with them.

I swear anymore, it seems like the Prez seat is akin to taking over as the Don of the mob. lol

Nah, it isn't the Don, that position actually has power it's more like Tom Hagan. No real power but out in front.
