OK so I suppose it may do, if we are to blame, but the fact remains our climate is changing, be it for natural reasons, earth or solar cycles or man.

What we should all be discussing is the best way to start adapting now.

Moving cities, people, farms, power networks... away from low lying coastal areas.
Stop building on flood plains now, I mean how stupid and greeedy are we?
Building regulations improved to stand higher winds where required.
I'm sure there's lots more like managing our land more efficiently for the good of all rather than for £/$

Some science to show effect of warming so far - stick to the factual content and ignore the spin, draw your own conclusions.

It probably won't be catastrophic. The arctic isn't really melting very quickly at all, and an example I see frequently cited - the plunge of the Greenland ice sheet into the sea - is actually quite implausible since the ice lies in a bowl-like formation.

Will be back to review this further... but for now I gotta get going.
