Pentagon admits mistaken arms shipment

The Pentagon announced Tuesday that the United States mistakenly shipped to Taiwan four electrical fuses designed for use on intercontinental ballistic missiles, but has since recovered them.

The error is particularly disturbing, officials said, because of its indirect link to nuclear weaponry and because of the sensitivity of U.S. arms sales to Taiwan, which China regularly denounces as provocative. The Defense Department said an investigation of the incident is under way.

Seems kind of fishy again. Remember the Minot air force screw up. Another one in less than a year.

I am not really a buff in military operations, feel free to weigh in.

a fuse does not make an interconitinetal nuclear weapon.
it probakly is just like fuses used in your computer or cars.

Lol...

But these fuses could be just the final piece to a nuke. As they are used in the minuteman missles. Seems that we have been doing a lot of misplacing with items lately.
