Well, I don't think they have a very active recruiting policy. If you want to be one of the ground troops, I think being a Jesuit monk might help. Those guys are like the ninjas of the Illuminati.

If you're looking for more of a management-type position, I think you pretty much need to be really rich, but not famous. If you inherited a billion or so from dear old dad, that would probably help. Then I suppose they contact you, after running some secret tests on you to determine whether or not you can be trusted. Trusted under threat of death.

It's actually a tough position to get, and you don't really get paid for it, other than knowing you helped maintain the secret wealth structure of the planet. Which is something, I guess. No slackers need apply.

I don't think you can join anymore. Steve Jackson Games used to sell an Illuminati Membership Kit, but it's long out of print. Like all out of print things, though, you might have luck on eBay from time to time.

Without a membership kit, how can you prove you're a card-carrying member? (Still need to dig up my old Illuminati pin to add to my Scottish Rite cap... should give some of the white caps a coronary, thus giving me a way up through the ranks... )

or be recruited by any number of 'Think Tanks'...

in there, you will be bumping elbows with different levels of Illuminati persons...
