honestly, i wouldnt give a damn if jesus was gay. because in my opinion, he was a human being, not a god.

Where do you get your childish concepts such as Sheol etc? The dead have no "abode" as time/space are only our (human) concepts, and are but illusions.

Why did you submit to fear-based tactics of religion to take their controlling dogmas on faith? Or were you tempted by the prospect of a future reward for being a "good boy" and honoring and obeying the God(s) they order you to honor and obey? Which is it?

Does the possible idea that there may not be a God after all get blocked by your own mental wall of insecurities? Is your mind programmed, conditioned, and controlled (with your permission) by dogmas and religious authorities including "holy book(s)" like the Bible?

Are you terrified of questioning your beliefs in fear that you'll be punished in the future? Does that fear have an overwhelmingly powerful hold on your rational mind, effectively disabling and rejecting any logical thoughts that contradict your beliefs?

Is the universe the toy of God Almighty? Are we the chess peaces he moves around? What happened to FREE WILL?

Does it please him to create people, expect faith-based worship, and then send those who are skeptical to Hell?

Does he do this because it hurts him when we reject him? Aww the poor guy is vulnerable and attached to us in such a way, that when the emotional attachment is broken he's somehow hurt? Awww I think God needs a hug, and a lesson in developing attachments! I think Hamilton/Mikro just asked a simple question and proved a very important point. It shows how ignorant and judgemental people can be and that whenever Jesus does come back, he will be persecuted regardless.

Look at it this way, Jesus being gay, homeless, jewish, arab, whatever you want, just shows that there is no way that everyone will ever accept him when he does arrive on the earth. Jews wont accept an Arab Jesus, Arabs wont accept a Jewish Jesus, Whites won't accept a Black Jesus, and homophobes won't accept a Gay Jesus.

God/Jesus both spoke of compassion, they both spoke of not judging your fellow man, God himself says he works in mysterious ways....those who are quick to judge others should realize that perhaps God is playing an intentional cruel trick on you, to see how deep your compassion and understanding really lies, by sending others to play devil's advocate and get you all riled up...but you fail in God's eyes when you attack those type of people, your God did say turn the other cheek.

How can anything really blasphemous when there is no 100% proven truth?

I can't think of a reference to them, while there are several references to him marrying Mary of Magdelene and living in France, after the escape from the crucifixion (basically the same stunt as what they used for Lazerus)

In any case, let's look at the facts... Jesus was the original hippie... He travelled around with a bunch of guys and a prostitute, and preached love. I'd say odds are that he was bi-sexual....and that's rather humorous really.... It was actually much more accepted at the time, for a man to be that way (though I can't imagine why a dude would....), so it isn't that far fetched. Hell, Greek and Roman commanders encouraged it, as it lead to more commitment to the men apparently.....

What I think is funny is all of the people that are getting upset by this idea.
