A recently declassified US Army report on the biological effects of non-lethal weapons has revealed that the countrys army had experimented with outlandish ray gun devices, which would cause artificial fevers or beam voices into peoples heads through telepathy.

Released under the US Freedom of Information Act, the 1998 report gives an overview of what was then the state of the art in directed energy weapons for crowd control and other applications.

According to Steve Wright, a security expert at Leeds Metropolitan University, UK, the technologies described could be used for torture.

"The epileptic seizure inducing device is grossly irresponsible and should never be fielded," said Steve Wright.

Heh...I got that file a long while ago. If you google the title of the article and add the letters PDF you can get the file from a number of sources. It's very straight forward and clear. No blackouts. Great stuff. They probably have something a thousand times better now, which is why this is declassified.

The tech to broadcast voices into your head has already been comercialized. Here in NYC we have adds that speak right in your head. This is obviously the result of what was spoken of in the FOIA document, yet another good example of the government's true technilogical capability being far ahead of that of the civilian sector.

Just imagine, with tech evoloving at an exponentially increasing rate, what sort of gadgets and gizmos we'll have in 10 years.

This is a scary, scary technology

I also read a thread about this being used in Iraq to "BEAM" the voices of their Gods into their heads to stop them from a distance. This is either another benign form of over saturating us with advertising or something much more sinister.

I am pretty sure right now they have far better technology than this one, else they wouldn't have published this one; wonder what advanced technology they might be using now; hope they will publish them within a decade or so.

Minority Report...That movie was most definitely one of a kind. Great stuff. And it illustrated damned near everything we're seeing now.
