hu -(from, 'the lost language of symbolism, vol.ii, by harold bayley).......

Hu the Mighty, a a sun-god whom Squire* equates with the irish Lug or Lugh and with the welsh Lleu or Llew.(*'mythology of ancieht britian', p. 52)
the welsh 'llew', meaning light and also lion, is probably a corroded form of 'el hu'(Lord Hu), and may certainly be equated with the irish sun-god Lugh. at about the period 2000 b.c. 'Ilu' was an assyrian name for 'the one great god'. Lug, an alternative title of Lugh, is a contracted form of Lugus, the gaulish Sun-god, and the gaulish Lugus is what the greeks called Logos, the divine WORD or REASON.
the Celtic for mind was 'hew'; hu in chinese means sir or lord, and hugh, the british chritain name, is defined by the authories as meaning, 'mind, soul, spirit'. in egypt, the word khu, i.e. ak Hu (?),'Great Hu' meant, 'shining, translucent, transparent, intangible essence of a man, and the word is on the whole, best rendered by spirit.
Hu, the name of the All-pervading, is a root whose ramifications are discernible in many directions. it is apparent in Dyhu or Dyu, the bright and heavenly divinty of india and greece, in taou, the chinese Supreme Reason; and it is again recogizable in Huhi, the egyptian All-father. the primitive and elementary Hu may be traced not only in the simplicities of such names as the french Huon and the english Hewin, Hubert and Goodhew, etc., but in the intricacies of god-names such as the mexican Huitzon and Huitzilopochtli.
the ancient name of mexico was Anahuac, and the word huaca there meant not only sacred but also a tumulus or artificial hill. the english counties of gloucestershire, worcestershire and warwickshire, were once called Huiccas and constituted the territory of a people known as the Huiccii. the Huiccii were presumably worshippers of Hu ik, the 'great hu', and may be compared with the Quiches, i.e. the 'ak huishes' of central america.
Hu the Mighty was seemingly the god of gentleness; his name is the root of humane, winsome, wistful, and whisper, and he is still invoked by children as ' gentle jeshu, meek and mild'. the syllables huish have have coalesced into 'hush', and the modern mother whispering hushabye baby unconsciously yeilds the benediction, 'may the light of Hu be with ye, baby'.
in greek, the word eu means soft, good, pleasing, or well-whence such terms as euphony, a pleasing sound; euphemism, a soft expression; and euphrasia, delight.

back to billybob now.......

hu(fu, but the 'f' pronounced more as blowing than teeth on lips) in japanese is fire. phi-re. the golden mean ray of creation.
so, lu, as in light bringing lucifer, and hu as in human, are both descriptions of the 'ever resplendent fire' that is spirit in matter.
just had to knock down that darn tower of babel......was it the dark or light that would be responsible for such ignorance? only point of view knows for sure.
