Anyone Know The Biggest Most Epic Thread Of ATS?

Topic started on 22-3-2008 @ 08:06 PM by Nyorai

I was wondering what the largest thread was with the most replies, most flags, or even stars. Has anyone been involved in such a thread? The only ones I have been in (although not read all of it or posted much) were the D4ark Kn1ght threads. Aside from those there are the huge BTS game threads.

Ooo thanks!

I remember the missile incident, although I think it started out as a breaking news item by another poster.

To increase the views can't you just press the refresh button over and over again?

well, whatever the spin-meisters pull out of the hat...

I say that the "Prophet YHWEH" thread
which claimed he would 'Pray' for UFOs to appear, & they would...
was the 'signature' thread (even though the PTB wont claim it)

almost as much traffic as the 'killer wave' on another forum (GLP)
which is not well liked in these parts...[and even i was banned from...]

Of all the time that I've been here, I would have to say the John Titor and Project Serpo threads have been the largest that garnished the most widespread attention. I'd have to say John Titor was the biggest and the best.

I've never read the Prophet YHWEH, Project Serpo, or John Titor threads. Although I've heard of them.

Never been to GLP much. I think a couple years ago I went there and posted something about ATS and they said they should change their background to black but that it would be too similar...

SO failed to mention serpo. I think that was the thread the grew so large it resulted in the big thread rules.

248 pages of ATS at its best. you've got gov't cover-up, aliens and ufos, space travel, anonymous postings, hoaxes within the hoaxes, double agents and some of the finest investigative work I think our members have ever displayed (locating the plumber's stencil, down to the year was simply astonishing)

I've never been in anything like that, but it looks like a lot of fun. Consuming, but fun.

John Lear's moon pictures thread was pretty freaking large as well. Lot's to digest in that one.
