a UFO question for the ATS veterans

I am fairly new to ATS so I wanted to get the opinions of some of the ATS members that have been around for awhile regarding UFO's

I am astounded by the number of UFO reports that are posted on a weekly basis here at ATS. There are seriously 1-3 a day! Has is always been like this or has activity recently picked up?

I understand a lot of these cases are either dismissed because lack of evidence or debunked as a hoax.. but either way i am curious if this is a growing trend.

If the activity is growing, when did the steady incline begin?
