Body-snatching ring boss 'guilty'

The head of a US body-snatching ring accused of stealing the parts of around 1,000 people has pleaded guilty, after striking a deal with prosecutors.

Medical supplies boss Michael Mastromarino made millions from removing body parts from corpses and selling them for transplant illegally.

One of the bodies plundered was that of famous BBC broadcaster Alistair Cooke.

Brings a whole new meaning to 'caught red handed'.

This is a big story and must have a major impact on all related companies and victims families.

I hope the major damage is done to the corrupt companies involved.

Very interesting story. Only question now is, how many were successfully sold and used? Can you imagine having some random person's body part put inside of you? I know that I can't. At least with organ donors, it's not "random" in the true sense of the word. It's known where the organ came from. In an illegal trade like this, that information must eb kept confidential. Disturbing, very disturbing.

One last question to you now... Where's the conspiracy angle here?
