Investment scams are one of the oldest tricks in the world and people will become more susceptible to them when the broader financial markets turn bearish. The weak dollar, mirroring the fragile state of the US economy, the world’s biggest, has caused a financial turmoil as many hedge funds try to cap their losses by dumping their greenback or US Treasury bill holdings in favor of other investment outlets.
