Kuwait's Cabinet resigns Amid Growing Tensions Between Ministers and Parliament

In the joint resignation letter, which was included in the statement, Deputy Prime Minister Sheik Jaber Al Mubarak Al Sabah complained that parliamentarians were "interfering" in the work of government ministers in a way that has "disabled the Cabinet from carrying out its responsibilities."

Sheik Jaber said the lack of cooperation between the two powers has hindered development efforts and caused "disappointment" among the people.

How about that, a branch of a government (albeit in Kuwait), that actually stands up for itself and let's the people know that other branches of the government were preventing them from doing the thing's that they were given the powers to do!

Kinda reminds of what has been happening with the Bush & Co. and Congress!

But of course, here in the US, there's no way anybody in Congress would give up their gravy train and power to point out a flaw in the way things were being done!

Kudos to those cabinet members in Kuwait!
