All it would have done was gotten them looked at closer. Unless there was something major on their record they were still getting on the plane. They all stayed very low key while they were here and there were only one or two reports that came out well AFTER 9/11 of ANY sort of problems with any of them, and I don't think any of the problems would have kept them off the planes.
