We were supposed to be doing a live outside broadcast from the Transition Towns event in Glastonbury today, and after getting up at 7 a.m. on a Sunday
morning to pack the kit and get to the venue, we get told there isn't enough space for our small compact outside broadcast equipment! So we had to
return home again and have had a wasted time!
It seems that people like these feel they are doing US a favour inviting us to these events, when other radio stations would charge them a fortune to
bring their roadshows there, and we do it FREE!
This had been planned with the event organisers for weeks, and advertised heavily on the radio station and on our website, including a
much-anticipated live debate about the "peak oil" issue with Rob Hopkins and Ian Crane, which many listeners were really looking forward to!
I'm back off to bed! lol
