Is this a Tornado in the Desert?

Topic started on 15-3-2008 @ 10:12 PM by MountainStar

Any weather experts here? I've seen many dust devils out here in the desert, but nothing like this. It looks like it's coming down from the cloud, unlike a dust-devil which goes up. The photo was taken around 3:40 p.m. PST. We don't get any news on the week-ends so I haven't heard if it caused any damage or not.

I believe thats a dust devil. They once in a while get large enough. That they end up coming a tornado. In other words, It a dust tornado.
