Four held nude in jail seek damages

www.detnews.com

DETROIT -- Justin Anderson was 21 when he hit a stop sign in 1999 outside Saginaw and was arrested for drunken driving. When he objected inside the Saginaw County Jail to police questions about a missing girl, jailers threw him naked into a solitary confinement cell called "the hole."

He wasn't the only one nude in the jail. For years, Saginaw County deputies had a policy of stripping prisoners they deemed uncooperative.

They ended the policy in 2001, these are the last defendants' cases to come to trial.

The strange thing is how this could have ever been such a policy to begin with.

Keep in mind:

For years, Saginaw County deputies had a policy of stripping prisoners they deemed uncooperative.

And this was before the creation of the DHS and The Patriot Act and all the other infringements upon our constitutional rights under the current Imperial Administration.

I searched for additional news links but mostly they were terse and made a point to mention that "all" the defendants in these cases were arrested on "drunken driving charges."

Apparently these other news sources felt there was no merit to these cases, and felt justified in the malignment of the plaintiffs.

Actually, considering how things are going currently, these people are lucky they weren't recently; they'd have been tased, beat, and then tossed into a cold, filthy dark cell reeking of "urine and feces."

Hope they get huge settlements.

But you just know the bacon that pulled this are still employed and "administering" justice in their own way with the latest tools at their disposal.
