The Supreme Court's ruling in District of Columbia v. Heller may be the most important decision on gun control in U.S. history.

The stage is set for a historic showdown this month between gun enthusiasts and gun control advocates. The United States Supreme Court will hear a case on March 18th that should determine the meaning of the Second Amendment -- the hotly contested and fiercely debated part of the Constitution that guarantees "a right to keep and bear arms."

...the D.C. Court of Appeals ruling that is now before the Supreme Court marks the first time a federal appeals court has ever declared that a gun law violated the Second Amendment.

This case certainly bears the scrutiny of every citizen concerned with the question of gun control.

Will the Court's ruling further restrict our collective "right to bear arms" or amend the only other decision directly involving the 2nd Amendment, (United States v. Miller, 1939,) cited in arguments used by proponents of gun bans ever since?

That's what this case is going to address, pursuant to 2nd Amendment; the legality of municipalities enacting outright gun bans.

Or "the comma" if you wish.

The "differences" between a state regulated militia and the common citizen's tight to bear arms.

We'll have to wait to see how this "show down" goes.
