I thought OBL was last seen in a Pakistani hospital on 9/10/01.

Quote from article:

"While that record alone would justify Rahim's capture, it does not fully describe his place in the terrorist infrastructure," Hayden said. "Proficient in several languages and familiar with the border areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan, he was also an extremist facilitator and courier with high-level contacts."

Sounds like "FedEx truck to the darkside" to me.

A high-level figure who helped Osama bin Laden escape from Afghanistan in 2001?

You mean we've captured George Bush?

Awesome

Why would you think it would happen sooner when the FBI has been looking for people, on their most wanted list, in the U.S. for over 25 years?

Yes,
now we just have to bring him to trial.

unless he has a cyanide capsule hidden in his tooth - on second thoughts, if he wanted to kill himself, all he'd have to do is try and eat and think at the same time.

But OBL isn't on that list, even though Bush makes reference to "those old posters out West... Wanted Dead or Alive," in the short video posted above.

Of course not! Why would OBL be on the FBI list?

Well, some people seem to think he was the mastermind behind a terrorist attack on the US. It was said to have happened one September eleventh.

EDIT to add: He is on the list actually, but not for 9/11.

Are there any estimates on how many al-Qaeda members
we've captured, compared to how many new members were
created as a result of US foreign policy over the past 7 years?

I would hope that if the US was spending 12 billion dollars a week to find the US's most wanted, that they would find them. I expect no less here.

83,000 prisoners captured. Don't know how many al-Qaeda in there, if they even actually exist. No way to determine number created, since even sympathizers would be considered terrorists as well. You could be a terrorist and not even realize it.
