"Where is the outrage in this country? Well, mayors see it," said New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg. "We're the ones who have to go to the funerals. We're the ones that have to look somebody in the eye and say your spouse or your parent or your child is not going to come home."

Since Bloomberg became mayor in 2002, every gun homicide in the city -- including the killing of eight police officers -- has been committed with an illegal gun, police say.

Nationally, the black market is the source for guns used in more than 90 percent of gun crimes.

Sticky issie...Although anymore, with the current state of afairs and the direction things are heading, I don't want Big Brother in ANY form trying to take away any more guns. A complacent public is a disarmed public. And these goons are doing everything in the world to overpower and intimidate the little folks.

Funny how it's always the mayors of cities that have already essentially stripped their residents of their 2nd Amendment and natural right yet have by far the most gun related violence than the towns that have no infringements on their residents rights.

It looks like cities are more to blame for gun related crime than guns are. The guns don't go around thinking for themselves and pulling their own triggers but the administrations of these cities have all done their share to legislate against them. Legislation which only affects those who care to follow the law in the first place of course.

If any of their idiotic ideas worked then D.C. should be the safest place in the country. Dumbasses. Every one of them.

that snippet sounds like they are mad about people getting guns illegally..... ...so now they want to outlaw legal guns?

I honestly believe if the Government gave everyone a gun people would become really civilized. People arent going to break into peoples houses cause they know they have a gun.

Take away legal guns and what are you left with....oh yeah the same problem.

yeah.. the kind of person who would shoot a cop would surely turn in their gun if it became illegal...

EVERY SINGLE place that has strict gun laws have the most crime.. every one.

if people cant see this for what it is, they deserve what they get.
