Whats your favorite video game of all time?

One single game? OK, Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion.
I have invested at least 1,000 hours of my life into that game and loved every second of it.

Before I get the dreaded "noob gamer/lamer" tag for picking a relatively recent release (since protocol generally dictates it is in poor form to pick a current generation title as best game ever), I am a lifelong gamer. 30+ years of playing everything from the Odyssey to the 360 and everything in between (Not joking here either, I've spent the past 12 years filling in the little missing systems and titles to create my ultimate Room of Doom). So I am by no means a lamer.

I just see Oblivion as being such a fantastic melding of storyline, graphics, controls, and fun.

Ok it is an honest to goodness tie between Goldeneye (best shooter and Multi-shooter ever) and FF7

Look I don't brag about much but I was a master of the grenade launcher. I could bounce and bank those things like crazy ESPECIALLY in the temple

now to balance my ego...on the flipside I hated proximity mines cuz I always forgot where I put mine

Fallout 3 and Oblivion, I just wish there were more games like them.

My favorite game, this game is a timeless masterpiece of a game that never gets boring.

Starcraft

This is going to sound limp and lame but the game I played the most and enjoyed the most was Tecmo Superbowl. The SNES version was classic.

Hard choice, but I'm rather partial to KOTOR. Being a Star Wars fan helps.

FFXI was great for a while then the population died

Last Remnant was really good also

Best old school is close between FFIV and FFVI Chrono Cross was pretty sweet to

My fav has to be fable 2, love that game cannot wait for number 3, I also loved fallout 3 brilliant game, batman arkham asylum was a good game also.

Think thats about it.

Castle Wolfenstein, Doom, but Hexen was by far my favorite. Aside from those gems currently big into TF2. I have more time on WOW than any other game by far but it is no where close to being my favorite or in my top ten for that matter. Don't know why I have so much time on it.

My favorite video game? Shining Force for the Sega Genesis. Epic.

Shining Force II was actually better, imo.
