The death of Manchester police chief Michael Todd may have been suicide.

He was also alleged to have been having an affair.

Since when Mainstream news is a reliable source. Ofcourse he had an affair. Ofcourse he had alcohol in his blood. Ofcourse there is no visible injury.

To me, it just sounds way too easy.

I take your point - but until we have all the facts (if ever) we just don't know.

It IS kind of strange, but I don't see how a conspiracy here would help anyone.

Suicide - perhaps.

Conspiracy - a bit of a stretch, but only time will tell...

Well take a look at this:

news.bbc.co.uk...

Top officer sent 'worrying texts'

Greater Manchester Police chief Michael Todd sent a series of "worrying" text messages before he was found dead in north Wales, the BBC has been told.

BTW i'm not saying conspiracy. But i also know some history of the CIA.

I've been following the story - it's pretty big news on the BBC.

My read on it is that concerns were raised due to the nature of the texts - they may have indicated he intended suicide.
There were also letters to family and friends found on his body - which would also suggest suicide, if true.

Not really sure how the CIA is relevant...

The second Inspector found dead is Neil Munro of Dorset police:

The body of a Dorset police inspector has been found washed ashore at an expensive seaside peninsula.

Police said the body of Insp Neil Munro, 43, was found along Panorama Road, nicknamed "Millionaire's Row", in Sandbanks, at about 0830 GMT.

A gardener is reported to have found the body under a jetty belonging to a multi-million pound seafront mansion.

Brittany Ferries confirmed a foot passenger of the same name had boarded one of their ferries on Wednesday.

Source - BBC

Seems he was a passenger on a cross Channel ferry, according to the Ferry company. Now he washes up on a beach in Sandbanks, Dorset...

Two suicides of Top police in 3 days of each other?

What backstory did this Dorset policeman have? Was he linked in anyway to the Manchester one?

HANG ON FOLKS, THIS IS THE THIRD POLICE SUICIDE IN THREE DAYS!!

A commended police inspector has died after apparently jumping off a cross-Channel ferry, it was revealed today.

Inspector Neil Munro, 43, boarded the Brittany Ferries ship alone late last night in Poole, Dorset.

The married father-of-one - the third policeman thought to have killed himself in the space of four days - went overboard in Poole Harbour a short time after it set sail at 11.45pm.

---snip---

His death follows the apparent suicides of police sergeant Richard Fuller, 55, who was found at his house near Calne, Wilts, on Monday after he shot himself with a rifle.

The following day Michael Todd, 50, the chief constable of Greater Manchester Police is thought to have committed suicide while walking in Snowdonia.

So, three suicides of Top police in 3 days?

Inspector Michael Todd -Manchester
Inspector Neil Munro - Dorset
Sgt Richard Fuller - Wiltshire

What is going on?

EDIT: Story about the third, Sgt Fuller. he was apparently Camilla's bodyguard...

A TOP bodyguard of the Duchess of Cornwall was found dead at home yesterday in an apparent suicide.

Police Sgt Richard Fuller, 55, head of security at Camilla’s country home, is said to have blasted himself with a shotgun.

The married dad of three was on the brink of retirement.

His death has stunned pals and colleagues who said he had seemed happy.

The news was sent to the Duchess, who is on a Caribbean sailing holiday with husband Prince Charles.

This new information makes this that much more suspicious. When I read about the one that apparently committed suicide on the mountain, I thought everyone was too quick to yell conspiracy. But with this second..and the third that another poster pointed out...it seems maybe I was too quick to explain it away!

I wonder if there was any kind of link or connection between these three guys. Are the locations anywhere near each other? I wonder if it has anything to do with the rash of teen suicides going on over there right now? Hmmm so many questions...

Their families are in my thoughts

Michelle129, that's exactly what i was thinking...

maybe those teens in wales could have been a training tool for some device or shadowy venture?
Ready to be tested on the people they want out the way...

Is big brother weeding out those that don't conform?

Just speculation...

Could this have anything to do with it? It's an article about a suicide epidemic in the south of Wales.

Good thinking, but S Wales is some distance from Manchester, Dorset and Wiltshire.

EDIT: For those who don't know, Manchester is in Cheshire.

Actually on a good day you could get to manchester to some parts south wales in about two and half hours driving outside rush hour.

Nothing in a day that...

I know people who take longer to get to work and college.

Whats the alleged connection to the CIA? The BBC News link doesn't say anything along those lines

Here is probably the reason:

www.rawstory.com...

The first guy killed was leading an investigation into CIA rendition flights...

Actually there's an earlier thread about this here:
