China issued on Thursday the Human Rights Record of the United States in 2007 in response to the Country Reports on Human Rights Practices for 2007 issued by the US Department of State on Tuesday.

Released by the Information Office of China's State Council, the Chinese report listed a multitude of cases to show the human rights situation in the United States and its violation of human rights in other countries.

I found this sentence a little ironic. When has the USA mentioned it's own Human rights violations when it invades other countries to bomb them for theirs.

This story is nothing but more fuel for the 'us and them' mentality the powers that be want us to have. It's easier to control a divided people. If you really look at things we don't really have Human rights because our governments give them to us, no they have ALL be fought for by people willing to stand up and say something. Those folks who bitch about protesters need to realise that. It's always the working classes that suffer whether in China or the great US of A...

No one is innocent! All governments are the same. We just have a 2 party dictatorship. Lucky us?
